Student athlete Cooney works to enhance urban neighborhoods with Project Blacktop

Tim Cooney grew up in St. Louis, and he and friends rarely had a place to gather and play a pickup basketball game. Cooney, a junior guard on the WUSTL men’s basketball team, is trying to change that for future generations.

CGI U plenary session student ticket lottery opens

Students on the Danforth and Medical campuses will have an opportunity, via a lottery, to hear former President Bill Clinton and a panel of new and veteran entrepreneurs share their “Stories of Starting Up” during the April 5 opening plenary session of the Clinton Global Initiative University’s 2013 meeting at WUSTL. Students now may enter the online lottery.
